How do I apply for a Door Supervisors Badge?
• Attend a training course
• Pass the relevant exams
• Apply to the SIA for your badge
How much will it cost to get qualified?
The cost of our training course is £250 including VAT. This will cover the training, the exam fees and the certificate (issued by the examining body).
Why train with Pathfinder?
Good question. All of our instructors are experienced and currently practicing door supervisors, with some also qualified to teach the skills of control and restraint. The Door Supervisors course takes place over three intensive days - a day less than many training companies. The quality of the teaching remains extremely high - our pass rate for this course is over 99%.
What does the training involve?
Part One - 1 day
Subjects covered include civil, criminal and licensing law, the role of the SIA in the security industry, and identifying your role in emergency procedures. We also examine powers of arrest, scene preservation, searching and how to deal with controlled drugs.
Part Two - 2 days
Conflict management is the process undertaken by staff to prevent the escalation of situations which could result in violence. As a door supervisor you could play an integral part in identifying, preventing and resolving such situations.
What else can Pathfinder do for me?
